YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR REDUCED FEE LEGAL REPRESENTATION

The Schenectady County Bar Association sponsors a Modest Means Panel Program offering experienced private counsel to those who financially qualify for reduced fee representation.*

To apply and find out if you qualify contact The Schenectady County Bar Association at 518-393-4115 or by mail to SCBA PO Box 1728 Schenectady New York, or go on line to scba.org for forms and information.

Intake and screenings will be done weekly.

If you qualify and are matched with an attorney who accepts your case, you will pay a reduced retainer fee of no more than $1,000 depending on the complexity of the case, and be charged a reduced hourly rate of no more than $100 per hour.

Guidelines for qualification are below. You will be requested to confirm your income and assets.
